The design is not only about making things beautiful. Design is a powerful tool to reframe our ideas and enhance our ability to solve problems. Here are my processes:
Find deep & meaningful needs through observing & engaging. Through user research, the project the project team achieves an understanding of who the users are and how they are affected by a particular problem, as well as what they need, desire, and value from a solution (and why).
Gather great ideas to establish features, functions, and any other elements that will allow them to solve the problems or, at the very least, allow users to resolve issues themselves with the minimum of difficulty.
Identify the best possible solution for each of the problems identified during the first three stages. The solutions are implemented within the prototypes, and, one by one, they are investigated and either accepted, improved and re-examined, or rejected on the basis of the users’ experiences.
Test the complete product using the best solutions identified during the prototyping phase.
